Are Vitawake products tried and tested?
Yes. Our raw ingredients are obtained from suppliers who are GMP compliant (Good Manufacturing Practices) and certified to ISO 9001. This ensures the production of safe and good quality food supplements. The ingredients are all research based and expertly formulated by our team of nutritionists and pharmacists. Additional to this, each ingredient that goes into our formula has been tested by the raw material supplier, and certificates of analysis are available for every batch of raw material used in the formula.
Will I need to take more than 1 pill of some supplements?
Yes, for some supplements you may be required to take 2 tablets or capsules. This will be disclosed on the relevant product information section or as part of your vitamin plan.
What do I do if I have an allergic reaction to any of the supplements?
If you have a known allergic reaction to any of the ingredients in our supplements, please do not take them. You can see the ingredients on the product information pages. If, after you’ve taken a supplement and realise you are getting an allergic reaction to them, please speak to a medical professional or your GP as soon as possible. You should stop taking these immediately. If you are sure the allergy is due to one of the supplements please let us know by email at hello@vitawake.co.uk.
Where can I see if a product contains ingredients I’m allergic to?
Go to the individual product information page or the vitamin plan page, where you can check the ingredients and allergens in the product description. For Personalised Vitamin Plans, you'll receive a document with your suggested supplements and the ingredients in each.
Are your supplements suitable for vegans?
Absolutely. All of our supplements are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Why does your product range consist of a mixture of tablets and capsules?
Capsules act quickly and most, if not all, of the nutrients are absorbed. Tablets can accommodate a higher dose of an active ingredient than a capsule. We use the best format for a specific type of supplement to provide the best and most effective dose. We also know many people have difficulty swallowing large capsules, so we have a maximum size we work towards for our capsules. If the dose is too large to fit in one capsule, we either choose to split this into two capsules or produce this in a tablet format for easier consumption.
Are Vitawake supplements suitable for children?
Our supplements are currently formulated and intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you are looking for supplements for anyone under the age of 18, we recommend taking supplements specifically made for children.
Are Vitawake’s vitamins and supplements safe?
Of course. Our ingredients are sourced by reputable and trusted manufacturers and suppliers in the UK. We ensure they meet the highest standards and are thoroughly tested before use. We take pride in the quality of our supplements as they are formulated by our team of Wellness experts and manufactured under strict GMP guidelines. When is the best time to take my supplements?
The best time to take these food supplements is with a meal, this ensures your body absorbs the supplements in the best and most effective way. We have designed the pack so that you can use it as part of your daily routine with your meal and embed it in your lifestyle.
Are your supplements safe to take as a combination?
All of the supplements suggested to you in a Personalised Vitamin Plan or as a pre-built vitamin plan are safe to take together. Please inform us of any prescription medication you are taking before you take any supplements to ensure safe consumption.
Do your supplements contain any allergens?
Most of our supplements do not contain any allergens. However, some supplements such as Multivitamin contain gluten. You can find the information on allergens for each supplement on the product information page or on the vitamin plan page.
What are your pills made from?
Our capsule shells are plant-based and made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC). Our tablets are made from high quality vegan ingredients.
Can I take Vitawake supplements if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
We have a specific Prenatal Plan that provides all the key nutrients required before, during and after pregnancy. Other supplements listed in our plans may not be suitable during pregnancy; if in doubt send us an email at support@vitawake.co.uk
